“Hands on a Hard Body”
Inspired by true events, 10 hard-luck Texans have an opportunity for a new lease on life… so close they can touch it. Under a scorching sun for days on end, armed with nothing but hope, humor and ambition, they’ll fight to keep at least one hand on a brand-new truck in order to win it. Introducing the Valley premiere of the hilarious musical about a hard-fought contest where only one winner can drive away with the American Dream.
After Dark Cabaret, aka Networking After Dark, tailored for our group, this will be the only after performance gathering during this entire production run. You are invited to gather after the show for this FREE event following our performance. This is a fun opportunity for you to get to know the wonderful performers just a little bit better, as well as your fellow community members. Each actor who joins us at ABT brings with them many talents, and our Cabarets give the actors a forum to shine for you! Seating is open, and bar service will continue following the final bow. Our actors will take a quick moment to freshen-up, and we’ll then get started (roughly around 10p.m.)
This is an event tailored for adults. Although we welcome the opportunity for children to attend, please note that both adult situations and language may be associated with various selections. PARENTAL GUIDANCE is suggested.
Henry Rollins is a punk legend, Renaissance man and outspoken human rights activist. He joins us to discuss social justice and equality. Five signed copies of his book will be raffled to benefit the Phoenix Pride Scholarship Fund.
